384s brakeman is exiting the cab to line a switch into the west end of the Port Huron yard. DT&I 413 - GTW 5813 - GTW 5801 are the power for this 58 cars train with cabooses 79197 & 79169 bringing up the tail end. Lead unit DT&I 413 will later be re-numbered as GTW 6413 once the GTW absorbs the DT&I. |

GTW 1002 is a re-engined Alco S4 with a 975hp CAT. This unit was rebuilt by the GTW in 1980 and was one of a group of four S4 units re-engined and numbered from 1000 to 1003. The other unit in this shot is GTW 7015 which is an SW9 built in 1953. |
